The Vendor Governance Program Manager oversees the policies, processes, and standards that guide how Marcom engages with internal and external vendor partners. Reporting to the Vendor Governance team, this role partners with stakeholders across Apple to develop and implement best practices for vendor onboarding, risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and ongoing policy governance.
Job Description:
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to create a robust vendor onboarding, and monitoring ensuring alignment with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Participates in authoring vendor policies and processes ensuring vendors and our teams understand and adhere to compliance expectations.
- Educate and provide training to vendors on how to partner with Marcom as they engage resources for project based roles.
- Create and facilitate training programs, communications, and resources that educate internal teams on contingent labor policies, compliance requirements, and best practices for vendor engagement.
- Create Standard Operating Procedures for Vendor Governance ensuring that our internal processes are well documented and securely maintained.
- Establish and maintain detailed records of Vendor Lead contacts, assessments, and communications with vendors.
- Establishes a cadence for risk evaluations and assessments.
- Builds KPIs and creates reports for audits, ensuring that this is well documented and securely maintained.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience in managing cross-functional projects and compliance initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate compliance requirements, policies, and training material.
- Possess extraordinary organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and reporting accuracy.
Key Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in contingent workforce management, vendor compliance, or risk program management.
- Proven experience in developing or managing vendor compliance programs or vendor performance evaluations.
