This individual will need to be very detail-oriented, organized, and have clear, effective communication skills. They should be flexible and comfortable in collaborating within a team dynamic and holds a penchant for exceptional follow-through. They will need to be nimble and able to pivot and reprioritize as needed. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for learning new tools and applications, and the skill set to identify blockers for launch. They should also have a strong drive to improve the performance and overall functionality of the marketing tools in development.
Key Qualifications
- 10+ year background experience in a tool development role, whether it be in an ad operations/media trafficking, website management, or a CMS manager-based role
- 3-4 year experience in a marketing, advertising, or creative services organization
- Background QA or testing experience in website or application development, ad trafficking, project management, resource management, or equivalent systems/platforms
- Enthusiasm to learn new platforms or websites, both front-end, and back-end
- Excellent listener and note-taker with the ability to adhere to the deployment/UAT plan and adhere to tracking of key project milestones, deadlines, and statuses
- Ability to retain new information and workflows quickly
- Comfortable in escalating and troubleshooting tool or website requirement gaps and/or issues
- Holds excellent communication skills and can concisely recap progress to various stakeholders
- Must have an obsessive attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies or gaps in tool/application performance functionality
- Must possess a “can-do” attitude for all situations, no task too big or too small to handle
- Must be able to work under minimal supervision
- Experience with Workfront preferred
Responsibilities
- Clearly understands the tool(s) or website(s) in development within the organization; ability to articulate and answer questions related to defined scope documentation and gaps in the final product that may arise
- Provides best practices guidance between creative operations needs and tool development team to bridge the gap in conversations and needs
- Thoroughly understands the business requirements and is comfortable with reading through UAT documentation and scripts to provide feedback on the tool(s) or website(s) during testing
- Validates product in both testing/UAT and production environments, facilitating and authenticating the functionality of a build, its pages, user permissions, etc.
- Must be comfortable in project tracking the quality of the applications created internally, managing the tracking of bugs flagged, functionality missing, etc.
- Effectively consolidates team and user feedback and input on associated applications
- Proactively contributes to the scope of building out upcoming features and/or functionality for live tool(s) and/or website(s), attempting to foresee any impending issues, concerns, or conflicts
- Initiative to investigate and self-teach when topics or functionality within a platform or tool is unknown
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Hours may fluctuate on project needs.
