About the role:
To onboard new facilities onto the bank’s core systems in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all agreements are reconciled against the credit application and supporting the deal team with servicing requirements throughout the facility life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review loan agreements from a servicing perspective.
- Provide feedback to Front Office on draft agreements from an Operations standpoint for consideration prior to finalising facility terms.
- Extract key data points from loan agreements to support event management throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Input facility data upon signing/activation, including creation of credit lines and collateral booking.
- Ensure the Bank’s SOX processes related to deal origination are fully adhered to.
- Log future updates referenced in loan documentation (e.g., fees, margin changes, maturity extensions) in the electronic diary.
- Proactively resolve queries within the team or escalate appropriately when required.
- Action approved credit applications and email instructions promptly, ensuring all reports and conditions are accurately updated in the Bank’s systems.
- Assist with project‑related work and propose enhancements to processes or procedures where applicable.
Experience/Key Skills:
- Considerable experience of working within a Financial Institution Middle Office / Control function.
- Considerable operational experience of loan products, reviewing loan agreements.
- Proficient in up-to-date standard practices relative to the products administered within, Loans markets
