Job Title: Sales Communications & Content Specialist
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Sales Analyst to support our content and communications operations within NetApp’s Content Management System (CMS) platform. This role is responsible for uploading, publishing, and managing digital content to support field and partner enablement. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance and serve as a point of contact for user support queries.
The candidate should also possess a strong background in sales communication and have proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CMS Management:
o Manage and update content on the company's CMS platform
o Ensure all web content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with the company's branding and messaging guidelines.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the CMS.
2. Content Creation and Editing:
o Create, edit, and publish web content using HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver.
o Develop engaging and SEO-friendly content to drive traffic and engagement.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to produce high-quality graphics and multimedia content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
3. SharePoint Front-End Design:
o Design and manage the front-end of the company's SharePoint sites.
o Create custom SharePoint pages, libraries, and lists to support various business functions.
o Ensure SharePoint content is user-friendly, visually appealing, and consistent with the company's brand standards.
4. Performance Analysis:
o Analyze website performance and user engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
o Generate reports and provide insights to optimize content and improve user experience.
o Monitor SEO performance and make recommendations for improvements.
5. Training and Support:
o Provide training and support to team members on CMS usage and best practices.
o Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in CMS, web design, and sales communication.
Requirements:
• Excellent HTML editing and graphic creation (Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop) skills
• Knowledge of web analytics tools (Matomo/PIWIK, Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other programmer/analysts cross functional peers to support deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and exposure to working with global customers/ counterparts especially from the Americas
• Upload and publish digital content assets (pages, documents, articles) within NetApp’s CMS platform.
• Maintain content structure and ensure tags, and links are correctly applied.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to review and refresh content, ensuring it is current, relevant, and aligned with brand and business standards.
• Support internal users by addressing CMS-related queries and providing guidance as needed.
• Track publishing timelines and ensure content meets publishing SLAs.
• Perform periodic audits to identify and remove outdated or redundant content.
• Knowledge of User Interface Design fundamentals
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint especially)
• Must be forward-looking self-starter who can execute with moderate/little direct supervision
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with SEO best practices and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• 3–5 years of experience in content management, digital publishing preferably with a high-tech company.
