Senior Gross to Net Accountant - Day to Day Operational Support
Perform preliminary data gathering, initial variance and reconciliation
Ensure integrity of data provided by commercial teams, and deliver value-added insights, including recommendations to improve forecast accuracy.
Update the G2N “Breakaway Technologies” software system with refreshed data and assumptions
Leverage Novartis proprietary excels along with the Breakaway application to calculate Gross to Net rates.
Perform analysis of validated transactional data for G2N channels
Provide management with accurate, relevant business analysis to support monthly operational reviews and ad-hoc requests and ensure timely and accurate information gathering.
Work with other business functions to analyze to evaluate risks or opportunities; make recommendations to mitigate these risks. Document these assumptions.
Prepare G2N presentations which summarize latest G2N forecast assumptions and data analytics
Support MMF and FRA teams with preparing for leadership meetings to report on G2N results, including, but not limited to:
o Historical and future Risk & Opportunities regarding any segments
o Forecast Variance Analysis
o Channel specific analysis
Document minutes of G2N Forecast review meetings and distribute to key Novartis stakeholders
Ensure ongoing business performance is appropriately monitored and measured and drive early warning for re-direction of resources with Business Partners.
Based on action items within the meeting minutes for the G2N Forecast review meetings, Resource will update the G2N software system with refreshed assumptions and data as necessary
Key performance indicators:
Internal customer satisfaction with quality, appropriateness, and timeliness of financial analyses provided
Reliability, timeliness and accuracy of budgetary and financial forecasts
Accuracy of early-warning system and results.
Managing risks and ops efficiently for the line of business
Minimum Requirements:
Years of Service
5+ years of senior level executing in Forecasting GTN at a pharma company
Work Experience:
Operations Management and Execution.
Functional Breadth.
Financial Management.
Skills:
Analytical Thinking and Financial Modeling.
Financial Business Partnering.
Solution Driven and Pragmatic Financial Service Delivery.
Effective communication.
Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $90 - $110/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 6-month
