Technical Writer required for transcription of legacy document

Job Description:
We are migrating from legacy NAMS application to new Mosaic platform. As part of the migration, we need to transcribe active license protocols into Mosaic from NAMS.
We have created a AI mapping tool to automate a lot of this process but require a resource to manually transcribe the output of the mapping tool into Mosaic.
We have approx.. 250-280 documents globally with each document taking approx. 2-3 hours to transcribe and verify (approx.. 840 hours / 105 days / 5 months).
We plan to perform this transcription site by site (SD, EM, CM & BS) so this process can take between 4-6 months of calendar time.

Risk if not pursued:
• Running two applications in parallel for longer time which causes complexity support, Vivarium users having to use two applications for different experiments,
• Data quality less than what we expect as individual users try to migrate
• Risk to not migration users to new platform in planned time and initiative close timelines

• Allows us to move users to new application with less challenges, costs and issues using old system
• Complete initiative in good time
• Allow us to begin retiring NAMS sooner

Location: Cambridge, MA(Remote)
Pay Rate: $40 - $45/hour based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 6-month
