How You'll Rock the Role
- Lead holistic marketing strategies growing audiences across generations—engaging active fans, reactivating lapsed ones, and introducing timeless music to new listeners.
- Reignite nostalgia w/ compelling storytelling & targeted content reconnecting fans with the music they love.
- Oversee & evolve long-term brand plans for legacy artists, establishing narrative arcs, anniversaries, and creative franchise opportunities.
- Expand emerging artist brands & visual identities that resonate with new generations of fans and reflect contemporary culture.
- Build & manage 360 marketing campaigns across DSPs, digital media, creator partnerships, retail, physical product, social media, and artist channels.
- Collaborate & develop a focused e-commerce strategy, including exclusive D2C product drops, timed activations, and bundled offerings across vinyl, apparel, collectibles, and limited editions.
- Collaborate w/ CRM, audience development, digital, and commerce teams to integrate fan insights and deliver personalized experiences.
- Work closely w/ artist management, estates, creative teams & external partners to ensure authentic, impactful storytelling & brand alignment.
- Use audience data & performance metrics to refine campaign strategy, targeting, and creative execution.
- Manage marketing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams to ensure campaign success from concept to post-launch.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8+ years of experience in music, entertainment, or brand marketing with a proven record of strategic, audience-first thinking.
- Deep understanding of catalog music and the cultural, emotional, and commercial power it holds.
- Experience in building campaigns that appeal to both nostalgic fans and modern audiences.
- Proven success developing and launching creative content, digital campaigns, physical products, and fan activations.
- Strong knowledge of digital and social platforms, DSP ecosystems, and creator/influencer landscapes.
- Ability to synthesize fan data, CRM insights, and market trends to shape strategy and creative execution.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Collaborative, imaginative, and strategic mindset with a passion for music storytelling.
- Experience working with artist managers, estates, and cross-functional internal teams.
- College Degree
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $46.88/hour - $62.50/hour
