We’re looking for a contract Visual Designer to join the Pinterest Academy team. Pinterest Academy is a global e-learning platform that helps advertisers develop the skills to build successful campaigns on our platform. In this role, you’ll be joining a diverse team of designers, writers, strategists, instructional designers, and marketers to help bring this content to life. You’ll contribute to how our program’s visual brand is expressed within the course content as well as manage the organizational aspects of the visual system.   

 

What You’ll Do: 

● Participate in launching and evolving our program’s visual identity within the eLearning space as well as  across product, marketing and business channels 

● Experiment, develop and execute resources, guidelines and templates that empower the team to create beautiful and thoughtful brand expressions 

● Iterate quickly and communicate ideas within the project team, with the ability to receive feedback constructively as well as provide input to other’s work 

● Deliver design assets for scoped problems from initial idea to artwork ready files. 

 

What we’re looking for: 

● Preferred 2+ years of professional experience with end-to-end visual design background.  

● Passion for developing design standards, systems and templates that create huge impact through simple solutions. 

● You have a sensibility for craft, composition, imagery, typography, iconography and color. 

● You have a collaborative approach to design, and can articulate ideas and rationale behind design decisions in both written and verbal environments. 

● You have the ability to take part in multiple projects at once. 

● Strong knowledge of design tools. You are fluent in Figma, secondarily in Photoshop. 

● Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects - able to edit and make simple animations at minimum - more advanced motion skills a huge plus.
