Our clients - global and regional advertisers - want to ensure that Pinterest offers a secure platform and is complying with their security and privacy expectations. To verify this, clients submit questionnaires that serve to confirm and expand upon various processes and policies at Pinterest. The topics covered in these questionnaires can range from security, compliance, diversity, inclusion and finance queries to questions around product development and data privacy, processing, storage and retention. These questionnaires often carry a revenue impact and can be crucial to ensuring a client feels comfortable advertising and operating with the Pinterest platform.
This role will work closely with various teams at Pinterest, including the global sales, privacy/legal, support, product and security teams. They will address each questionnaire request that comes in, coordinate with the appropriate cross-functional partner based on questionnaire content and utilize/build upon internal resources that assist with question answering; ensuring pre-recorded answers are always up-to-date and pre-approved.
What you’ll do:
Security Questionnaire scope:
Address all incoming privacy and/or security inquiries and questionnaire requests from the global sales team
Consult with necessary cross-functional partners (re: security, compliance, ect.) to ensure the questions are addressed appropriately
Coordinate questionnaire responses so the request is answered in a timely manners
Regularly review and update internal resources used to answer questions and provided by various cross-functional partners
If required, align with legal to approval questionnaires prior to submission back to the client
Devise creative solutions to managing incoming requests and work proactively to streamline the process
Product Troubleshooting scope:
Manage technical support issues on a daily basis, including verifying issues, isolating and diagnosing the problem and resolving the issue across Pinterest’s business products (Delivery, Measurement, Shopping, Formats), while supporting our advertisers. Acts as the first response for a support team.
Identify product limitations and features, and perform data analysis to size, prioritize and shape business cases for enhancing the product and sales process.
Skills:
At least two years of experience working in the ad tech, security and privacy space.
Basic understanding of security policies and practices especially in the areas of compliance, IT general controls, etc
Strong written and superb communication skills, both internally and externally
Empathy and authenticity when working with customers and key stakeholders
Passion for Pinterest’s mission and helping drive success for businesses and creators
Motivation to drive changes that improve the customer experience and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
Ability of building relationships, online and professionally in a matrix environments
Ability to work autonomously
Good judgement and confidence to take a risk based approach to analyze situations
