We’re looking for a thoughtful, self-motivated Safety Specialist II to join our Privacy Operations team within Trust & Safety Enforcement Operations. You’ll support Pinners by responding to privacy-related requests, applying policies and procedures with care and helping deliver a reliable, high-quality experience. What you’ll do
- Manage a high-volume queue of privacy-related user requests, delivering clear, accurate and policy informed written responses.
- Apply privacy policies, procedures and decision frameworks to resolve cases, document actions and escalate exceptions or risks when appropriate.
- Prioritize work against short turnaround-time targets, triage and monitor queue health and take action to protect service-level commitments.
- Participate in quality assurance, use feedback to improve case handling and maintain accurate operational records.
- Identify recurring user issues, process gaps and operational risks, synthesise feedback, then recommend practical improvements to workflows, SOPs and response templates.
- Use AI to accelerate synthesis, drafting and repeatable operational work, while applying judgment and verification to ensure accuracy, policy alignment and quality.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in privacy operations, escalations, compliance, Trust & Safety or a related field.
- Experience managing high-volume, email-based user support and producing clear, accurate and policy informed written responses, Zendesk experience is a plus.
- Experience prioritizing a queue, managing time-sensitive work and meeting defined service-level targets.
- Experience applying detailed policies, SOPs or decision frameworks in a compliance-oriented, escalations or other high-stakes environment.
- Experience working to quality standards, incorporating feedback and balancing speed with precision.
- Strong written communication skills and experience collaborating with internal partners to resolve operational issues.
- Privacy domain experience, i.e. “right to be forgotten”, subject access requests, objection or age assurance is a plus.
- Experience using AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day workflows, with a clear approach to validating accuracy, protecting sensitive data and remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables
