What you will do: 

• Build and evolve iOS prototype foundation tooling that enables designers and cross-functional partners to create high-quality, interactive prototypes more quickly and consistently.
• Develop reusable starter templates, component patterns, and technical foundations that accelerate prototyping workflows across product areas.
• Create tools and systems that help designers leverage AI in the prototyping process when leveraging native mobile frameworks, including structured flows, automation, and agentic capabilities.
• Partner with internal tooling teams to document and test workflows for prototype generation, packaging, and distribution.
• Establish best practices for iOS prototyping architecture, maintainability, performance, and extensibility to support rapid experimentation.
• Contribute to the definition of new workflows, platforms, and internal capabilities that improve how teams explore, validate, and communicate product ideas.
• Assist the Gestalt Design System team with iOS-specific deliverables and dependencies, helping ensure design system foundations, components, and prototype tooling align with broader platform needs and timelines.
• Document systems, templates, and usage patterns so tools are approachable, durable, and easy for others to adopt.

Skills:

• 5 + years experience building native iOS applications or tooling using Swift and modern Apple frameworks; experience with AsyncDisplayKit / Texture is a strong bonus.
• Strong understanding of UX engineering principles, with experience building prototypes, design systems, internal tools, or front-end foundations that bridge design and engineering.
• Experience creating reusable technical frameworks, starter kits, templates, or infrastructure that improve team velocity and consistency.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, automation, or agent-based tooling, and curiosity about how AI can support design and prototyping workflows.
• Ability to work fluidly across design and engineering disciplines, turning ambiguous concepts into practical tools and polished prototype experiences.
• Strong product thinking and craft, with attention to interaction quality, usability, performance, and developer/designer experience.
• Experience collaborating in highly iterative environments, incorporating feedback quickly, and balancing speed with scalable implementation decisions.
• Clear communication skills and a proactive, low-ego approach to partnering with designers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders
