Millions of people across the world come to Pinterest to find new ideas every day. It’s where they get inspiration, dream about new possibilities and plan for what matters most. Our mission is to help those people find their inspiration and create a life they love. In this role, you'll work on projects that support this mission and help move Pinterest forward.
- Create, design, and capture original, social-first content for Pinterest UK’s Instagram and TikTok channels.
- Bring ideas to life across formats — from aesthetically driven, trend-led carousels to live event coverage, handheld video, and high-impact transition edits.
- Photograph, film, and edit compelling content natively for social, with a strong instinct for what feels fresh, culturally relevant, and platform-right.
- Design and build assets in Figma with a highly refined visual taste, strong design craft, and a sharp curatorial eye.
- Develop beautiful new templates from scratch to launch and evolve episodic content series.
- Write scroll-stopping on-screen copy and captions that grab attention, spark interest, and drive engagement.
- Edit meme, video, and static creative for paid social assets, ensuring content feels polished, performant, and on-brand.
- Stay ahead of trends by spotting emerging formats, creator behaviors, and hook-driven transitions in real time.
- Partner with channel owners to support publishing and execution where needed.
- Source user-generated content and manage approvals to help fuel the content pipeline across channels.
- Make strong editorial and art direction recommendations that continually elevate the look, feel, and creative standard of Pinterest UK’s social presence.
- 3+ years’ experience creating social-first content for a consumer brand, publisher, creative agency, or social agency — ideally in fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or another visually led category.
- A strong, highly aesthetic portfolio that demonstrates exceptional taste across short-form video, static content, design-led storytelling, and platform-native creative. A portfolio or work examples should be central to the application.
- A sharp instinct for what feels current, compelling, and culturally resonant on Instagram and TikTok — with a clear understanding of hooks, pacing, formats, transitions, and what drives attention on each platform.
- Proven ability to concept, shoot, design, edit, and package content end-to-end, with minimal hand-holding and a strong sense of ownership. End-to-end creation is a recurring expectation in current fashion/lifestyle creator roles.
- Deeply plugged into UK culture, internet behaviour, and emerging Gen Z aesthetics, with the ability to translate trends into work that feels timely without feeling generic.
- Exceptional visual taste and a refined curatorial eye — someone who knows how to make content feel elevated, intentional, and distinctly on-brand.
- Strong design craft, including fluency in Figma, Canva, Photoshop or similar tools, and confidence building polished layouts, carousels, templates, and social assets from scratch.
- Strong editing skills across CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or equivalent, plus confidence editing natively in-platform where needed to keep content feeling fast, natural, and social-first.
- Experience shooting both low-fi iPhone content and more polished DSLR / higher-production content, with good judgment on when each style is right for the idea, audience, and platform.
- Excellent editorial copywriting instincts, including on-screen text, captions, hooks, and framing that can stop the scroll while still feeling true to the brand.
- Highly organised, fast, and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple asks and deliver strong creative against tight timelines and quick turnarounds. Quick-turn social production appears frequently in current postings for this type of role.
- A proactive, ideas-led creator who is always bringing new formats, fresh references, and emerging creator behaviours to the table — and who wants to continuously raise the creative standard of the channel. Trend translation and brand-right ideation are common themes in current luxury/fashion briefs
